Stotfold Runners is an inclusive running club that aims to promote running as both a sport and a social pastime.

The club believes strongly in supporting anyone who wishes to run, whether they are a complete beginner, or a hardened marathon veteran.

We currently accept anyone who can run, however slowly, for at least one minute.

If you are unable to do this, please contact Pete Luxford for advice on how to get to this stage.

We do our very best to ensure that if you turn up, the training will offer something relevant to your ability. You will not be asked to do something you are not capable of.

A number of our coaches and more experienced runners were beginners themselves a few years ago so fully understand how you feel and can help you improve no matter what your current standard.

We also have a wealth of experience at all distances from 5k up to 100 miles and beyond.

There is no commitment to race, or even attend training, but if you are interested in improving our coaches and other runners will help, encourage and motivate to help you achieve your goals.

I am a Personal Trainer, Running Coach and ultra runner based in Hitchin, Baldock and Letchworth with 9 years experience. I strongly believe that everyone can run, but many of us don’t know how to start. Running Clubs, like any other new experience can be daunting so I am dedicated to making everyone feel welcome, regardless of ability.
